Award-winning British prog-metallers TesseracT have parted ways with vocalist Ashe O’Hara (second from right), replacing him with former member Daniel Tompkins.
Tompkins was the band’s vocalist at the time of their debut release, One (2011), but left the band in the same year to front Skyharbor.
Ashe replaced him the following year, becoming the fifth vocalist in TesseracT’s history of lineup changes, and was part of the band for the release and subsequent touring for their second album Altered State (2013).
The band released this statement via their official Facebook page:
“We have amicably parted ways with Ashe as we have found ourselves in different places creatively. Ashe is a fantastic talent and will continue to be successful in his career and we wish him the absolute best.
“Moving forward for TesseracT – Daniel Tompkins will be rejoining us as a full time member of the band, starting from our main stage performance at Sonisphere. We are also looking forward to starting writing and recording album three with Daniel, which will begin later this year.”
