Stone Sour have just announced plans of their first UK tour since the album cycle surrounding ‘Audio Secrecy’ two years ago. The tour will take place after the release of the first part of their ambitious and expansive album project entitled ‘House of Gold & Bones’. The album comes in 2 parts, the first of which will be released on 22nd October followed by the final half which will drop in Spring 2013.
Frontman and lyricist Corey Taylor wrote the lyrics to the 24 tracks as a linear storyline telling the story of a character at a set of crossroads in his life. Taylor is excited to be returning with Stone Sour to this side of the pond. He stated
“It’s gonna be awesome to bring the House of Gold & Bones to fans live. We’ve given people a taste of part one and now we’re gonna bring them the best Stone sour show they’ve ever seen! It beings soon. Get Ready!”
Papa Roach are set to support the band when they play London but the other supports are yet to be announced.
The tour dates are as follows:
December
10 London, O2 Brixton Academy
13 Manchester, Apollo
14 Wolverhampton, Civic Hall
15 Bournemouth, O2 Academy
