‘I’ on our Rock A-Z is for Issues. The six piece from Atlanta, USA, have burst onto the scene with their gutsy concoction of metalcore and RnB, which you may scratch your head at and think, wait a second there is no way this can work, but in this case it bloody does. After vocalist Tyler Carter and Micheal Bohn left Woe, Is Me they immediately set about creating this band, who dropped their first EP, ‘Black Diamonds’ back November 2012, to mostly positive reviews and a lot of hype has surronded the band ever since. With a full length debut album currently in the writing, expect to hear the name Issues a lot within the next year, after ripping apart Islington on their debut UK tour, expect them to become a household name in no time.
Their music can only be described as Justin Timberlake meets Limp Bizkit who then fornicates with A Day To Remember, the sound is new and original. The band understands both the RnB and metal genre and their blend really is something quite fresh, their cover of Justin Bieber’s ‘Boyfriend‘ is also pretty impressive.
