Courtney Love hinted that ‘Hole’ might reunite as the classic 90s line up late last year, when she tweeted a photograph with the band’s guitarist Eric Erlandson.

The original line-up includes Courtney Love; talented, founding guitarist Eric Erlandson; Patty Schemel and Melissa Auf Der Maur.

The famous quartet split in 2002, their last album as a quartet was ‘Celebrity Skin’ in 1998. Love was the only original member of Hole to return for the nominal 2010 album ‘Nobody’s Daughter’.

In an interview with The Quietus, Courtney said: “I started playing with Patty and Melissa and Eric, just to see how that was. We already played like three or four times in the last week.” The band further went on to state that: “We already played like three or four times in the last week.”

Famous American vocalist Courtney Love has undergone many solo ventures including starring in a recent Fall Out Boy video. The star claims that the band have ‘put their differences aside’  in order to record new, exciting material.

Courtney Love is set to release ‘Wedding Day’, her new single which will support her UK May tour.
