After fans pleaded and pleaded for Nirvana to perform in a live setting, despite obvious circumstances, this was made possible.
At the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction, the ‘Frankenstein’ version of Nirvana performed. The classic line up was obviously altered with supporting musicians standing in for original members. The line up included Dave Grohl on the drums, original bassist Krist Novoselic, Pat Smear on guitar and a few stand in vocalists, mainly Joan Jett and Kim Gordon.
The band was also joined by the famous Lorde and St. Vincent, performing the classic tracks that we are all so familiar with. Smells Like Teen Spirit, Aneurysm, Lithium and All Apologies are just a few examples of some of the tracks performed at the show.
Here is the Nirvana ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ Performance, with a little help from vocalist Joan Jett.
