This week, Nightwish have released their new DVD, ‘Showtime, Storytime’.
The DVD documents the band’s entire performance at Germany’s Wacken Open Air Festival in August 2013, where Nightwish performed in front of 85,000 fans.
‘Showtime, Storytime’ was directed by Ville Lipiäinen, who used 17 cameras to create the 85 minutes of performance that the DVD shows. The second disc of the DVD contains a 120-minute long tour documentary entitled ‘Please Learn The Setlist In 48 Hours’, which was also directed Ville Lipiäinen. On top of this, the second disc also shows a Nightwish table hockey tournament and two music clips- ‘I Want My Tears Back’ (live at Hartwall Arena in Helsinki, Finland) and ‘Ghost Love Score’ (live in Buenos Aires).
‘Showtime, Storytime’ is also available in audio-only CD format.
