Philadelphia punk band, The Menzingers, have just released their latest track ‘I Don’t Wanna Be An Asshole Anymore’. The track is available on Pitchfork and can be streamed via Soundcloud. The song demonstrates what to expect from The Menzengers’ up and coming album ‘Rented World‘, which is set to release on the 21st April via Epitaph.

“I’ve been wandering nightly through the garden of your heartache, always making a mess, always stumbling out the door but I don’t wanna be an asshole anymore.”

A combination of Tom May and Greg Barnett’s vocals, combined with the instrumentation produced by the rest of the band, help to enhance the track’s overall theme of ‘self realization that you are hurting someone close’. ‘I Don’t Wanna Be An Asshole Anymore’ is about promise and change.
