Metal gods, Machine Head, have just announced details of their forthcoming ninth studio album, ‘Bloodstone & Diamonds‘.
The band will be releasing the record (the follow up to ‘Unto The Locust‘) later this year through Nuclear Blast Records. The album was produced by Machine Head frontman, Robb Flynn and Juan Urtgeaga (Testament, Vile).
The band have openly stated that at one point they didn’t think the album was ever going to come to fruition, but it’s a milestone record that fans are going to love. ‘Without getting too philosophical on ya, bloodstone and diamonds represent two of the hardest materials on earth’ muses Robb. Looks like we’re in for a treat!
Machine Head will be touring the UK in December with Devil You Know and Darkest Hour.
