Exeter metal band Idiom have announced to be releasing music through 2014 with Metal Hammer as part of a series of three separate cover-mounts ahead of their first album release. The first of this series is EP ‘Movement’, which the band have put up online stream. This comes prior to their UK tour, beginning in March at Coventry’s Kasbah.
’Movement’ is about constantly striving for what you want and dream…Each song has its own journey and meaning to all of us but we’ve been the same four members for the whole of Idiom’s existence and we’re closer than ever. This is just the beginning of that movement.” says Idiom guitarist Kris Gibbz.
“We wanna give it away for free with Metal Hammer cause it’s probably the most open minded metal audience that would relate to what we’re trying to do…We just want to play to as many people having a great time as possible, and this is a great way of doing it and we can’t thank Metal Hammer enough for helping us and other musicians to get out there and play new music.” continues singer Matt Sharland.
