HIM has premiered the video for ‘Tears On Tape’, the title-tack from the Finnish quintet’s eighth studio album.
The video was directed by Stefan Lindfors, who previously worked with the band 10 years ago to create the ‘Funeral of Hearts’ video.
The album will be released in the UK on Monday, April 29, via Cooking Vinyl records, and is available for pre-order HERE.
For four weeks after the release a special ‘Fanpack’ of the record will be available that comes with two bonus tracks – ‘Buried Alive By Love’ and ‘The Kiss Of Dawn’ – and a 132-page magazine, edited by HIM frontman Ville Valo.
The magazine features exclusive interviews with all the band members, producer Hiili Hiilesmaa and mixer Tim Palmer, as well as interviews by the band with some of their own heroes.
The pack also includes a poster, a track-by-track guide to the album, a guide to HIM’s back-catalogue, an explanation of the origins of the Heartagram, and an exclusive gallery from the band’s private collection.
The band will are set to appear at this year’s Download Festival on Friday, June 14, headlining the Pepsi Max stage.
