Fall Out Boy appeared on Jimmy Kimmel’s show recently to show iPhone users how to get rid of that U2 album. We wouldn’t suggest following in their footsteps!

Chicago rockers Fall Out Boy made an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! recently to perform their new single ‘Centuries‘. As well as performing, the band also starred in a skit which took them to the streets of Los Angeles to show one “lucky” guy how to remove that U2 album that dominated social media when it appeared on every iPhone user’s iTunes, for the most part unwanted. You can check out the skit below, as well as instructions from Apple on how to really remove the record from your phone. We wouldn’t suggest that you hand your phone over if Pete Wentz asks to help!

“To remove this album:

Go to http://itunes.com/soi-remove.

Click Remove Album to confirm you’d like to remove the album from your account.

Sign in with the Apple ID and password you use to buy from the iTunes Store.

You’ll see a confirmation message that the album has been removed from your account.

If you downloaded the songs to iTunes on your Mac or PC or to the Music app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, you’ll need to delete them manually.”
