Courtney Love Talks About Her ‘Nightmare’ Biography

Courtney Love has revealed that she is experiencing difficulties in writing her biography, ‘Girl With The Most Cake’. Read all about it here!

While fans of Courtney Love wait with baited breath for news of her eagerly anticipated biography, the singer herself has revealed that she has had trouble completing the book.

In an interview with Paper, Love admitted:

“It’s a disaster,” said Love. “A nightmare. I never wanted to write a book in my entire life. It just sort of happened. And I have a co-writer, but it’s just not working.”

There is also one other stumbling block in the singer’s biography:

“One of my rules about the book is that it has to stop in 2006. What happens from 2006 on in the book is my personal business. I’ve been discreet from that time on and I want to keep it that way.”

‘The Girl With The Most Cake’, was initially pencilled in for release in December 2013, but has, however, been postponed until Love and her co-writer are able to complete the book.

In the interview with Paper, Courtney also broaches the subject of the rumoured reunion of the original 90’s Hole line-up. Courtney remains optimistic, but threw shade on the subject by adding:

“It’s more important for me to act right now than to play rock ‘n’ roll, [but] me and Melissa and Patty and Eric have rehearsed a few times. In order to pull that [reunion] off, we’d have to make some music that’s relevant to now and we’d have to get a modern producer. I’m going to do the oldies circuit.”

Despite all of this, Love seems to be in a positive place right now, as she explains the importance of restoring her friendships with her former bandmates:

“At this point in my life, no one is my enemy. Any grudges or issues with the past? I’m done with it.”
