Alice Cooper is known to many as one of the greatest and possibly most bizarre rockstars of the 70s. Cooper who is known for his hit singles ‘Poison’ and ‘Schools Out’, has recently expressed his feelings towards the law on illegal drugs.
In a recent interview with OK magazine, the veteran rockstar and avid preacher of the bible, stated that “You know, looking at statistics, I think drugs should be legal and alcohol and cigarettes should be illegal. They kill more than drugs do.”
Cooper also claims that during his hay day he stayed clear of any hard drugs as the punishments were so severe and being put in jail was the last thing he wanted. Mr. Cooper also battled problems with alcohol for around 10 years before giving up the booze for good in 1983.
Some interesting views there, as always let us know what you think.
