Near the beginning of the year old Rock AC/DC Fans heard news of their new album. Although yet to be given a name, Drummer Phil Rudd has revealed that the new album took only a mere 10 days to finish.

“It was done in 10 days…I’ve never played better. I hope it’s as good as what I remember back in the studio.”

Frontman Brian Johnson has also spoke out about the new record, and suggested that fans can expect to se the band out touring sooner than we thought:

“We hope to bring you more shows in the near future but, of course, there is the slight distraction of my day job with AC/DC – and it looks very likely that we will be on the road again before the end of the year,”

This is all very exciting news, and we cannot be more thrilled that AC/DC are wasting no time.

Furthermore it has been noted that due to Malcolm Young,  will not be appearing on the new release due to ill health, it will instead be his nephew, Stevie who will appear on the new album instead.
