Ex-Chariot member Josh Scogin has found new life in in his noise duo 68 alongside Michael McClellan and they certainly know how to keep their fans on their toes.
Their latest single ‘Track Two’ has been released with not one but two videos. Nothing strange their you say? Well both videos have to be played simultaneously for you to get the full audio experience.
Scogin explains the reasoning behind his madness…..
“The hope is that someone will have one computer and invite a friend over that has another computer, they will spend several minutes struggling and laughing at trying to sync up the 2 videos perfectly.”
He goes on to explain that this is more than just an audio/visual experience, it can also build relationships and cement friendships…..
The duo vows the value is in the experience, which is precisely what their intentions were. “Once they have watched it they’ll think, ‘Well, we might as well grab a bite to eat,'” he states. “Before you know it their friendship has grown ever so slightly. Or who knows, maybe this is the perfect way to break the ice with that special someone that you have been nervous about calling up.”
’68 have been hard at work touring in their homeland of America but with their debut album In Humour & Sadness getting a UK release this August, we wont have to wait long to catch them on this side of the pond as a whole bunch of dates have been announced to coincide with the release.
