This Norwegian festival (the greenest festival in Europe, may I add) will run from the 10th – 14th August in Oslo. It is full to the brim with wicked acts including Pavement, OutKast’s Big Boi, Major Lazer, Fools Gold and Iggy & The Stooges (alongside many other global and Norwegian acts). The festival is known for having one of the best and diverse line-ups around, so it would definitely be a good summer festival to attend. Oslo is also a lovely city and worth a visit.
Obviously, trekking over to Norway isn’t possible for a lot of us – in which case – I am the bearer of good news. The festival is doing a special one of show in London at Koko, on the 26th February – and will include sets by The New Wine, Goldhawks and I was a King, as well as a set by Club NME DJs. Doors open 9.30pm till 4am and tickets are £7 or £5 before 11pm.
