Mark Ronson‘s ‘Uptown Funk’ featuring Bruno Mars has been released almost a month early due to Fleur East‘s X Factor performance on Saturday (6th December).

The song was originally due for release on the 11th January but is now available to buy.

Fleur’s faultless X Factor performance went straight to number one in iTunes on 7th December – amazing! The song’s popularity has forced Ronson to move the release date of the original single forward.

The performance received high praise from all four judges on Saturday night and earned her a place in next week’s final alongside Ben Haenow and Andrea Faustini.

Meanwhile, Ronson’s new album Uptown Special is set for release on 26th January and there are so far no plans to bring that forward too!

Watch Fleur’s performance of ‘Uptown Funk’ below and let us know what you think! Is it better than the original? We’d love to know your thoughts.
