Uk Music Video Award Nominations

The nominations for this years UK Music Video Award have gone up. Click here to see the nominee’s and pick your favourites.

For the second year running VEVO, who are partners with the UK MVA’s are giving the general public the chance to pick their favourite UK music video of the year. There are nine nominated UK artists and eighteen nominated videos.

The award gives fans the chance to pick one of the two videos from each of the most viewed artists shortlisted and this will culminate in a final shortlist of nine videos. Each video will then go head to head to win the award. The winner will be announced at the 5th annual UK Music Video Awards ceremony held at The Empire, Leicester Square in London on 8th November.

Voting is open now and closes on 2nd November  so pick your favourites and cast your vote.

The nominations are:

1. Calvin Harris– ‘We’ll Be Coming Back” ft Example (dir. Saman Keshavarz) and “Sweet Nothing” ft Florence Welch (dir. Vincent Haycock)

2. Cheryl– “Call My Name” (dir. Anthony Mandler) and “Under The Sun” (dir. Anthony Mandler)

3. Conor Maynard– “Vegas Girl” (dir. Charles Mehing) and “Turn Around” ft Ne-Yo (dir. Colin Tilley)

4. Emeli Sandé– “Next To Me” (dir. Charles Mehing) and “My Kind Of Love” (dir. Dawn Shadforth)

5. Jessie J– “Domino” (dir. Syndrome) and “Laserlight” (dir. Jonas & Francois)

6. Labrinth– “Earthquake” ft Tinie Tempah (dir. Syndrome) and “Express Yourself” (dir. Jonas & Francois)

7. One Direction– “One Thing” (dir. Declan Whitebloom) and “Live While We’re Young” (dir. Vaughan Arnell)

8. Professor Green– “Read All About It” ft Emile Sandé (dir. Saman Keshavarz) and “Remedy” ft Ruth Anne (dir. Pierre- Edouard Joubert)

9. Rita Ora– “R.I.P” ft Professor Green (dir. Emil Nava) and “How We do (Party)” (dir. Marc Klasfeld)
