Online searches for tickets for the Spice Girls‘ ‘Viva Forever!’ show have increased by more than 200%, following the news that the musical is to be cancelled.
The news broke through UK-based ticketing site Stubhub.
Stubhub International general manager Brigitte Ricou-Bellan said:
“Despite the bad press, this news will come as a disappointment to many and we’ve seen a significant uplift in searches as fans rush to get tickets while they still can,”
“With just eight weeks until the show ends StubHub is helping fans across the country find remaining tickets safely and securely.”
