On May 16th, Janet Jackson announced on her 49th birthday that she would return in 2015 with a new studio album and a world tour.
Since then she has kept fairly quiet until recently where Ms. Jackson announced that she has formed her own record label. BMG are set to release Janet’s first studio album in seven years this fall through her own Rhythm Nation Records.
Exciting!
With Rhythm Nation, Janet Jackson becomes arguably the first female African-American recording artist to form her own record label. At Rhythm Nation, Janet plans to offer a home to both new and established recording artists.
