Scouting For Girls have written a track for One Direction, and it’s made the shortlist. Read all the details HERE!

Roy Stride, the frontman for Scouting For Girls, has revealed that he has written a song for boy band One Direction, and it is currently being considered for their upcoming record.

Having already written the track ‘Stand Up’ which featured on the X-Factor finalist’s studio album ‘Up All Night’, he’s now delivered another shortlisted potential hit.

Talking about his songwriting experiences, Roy Stride has said: “To get on a One Direction album – every single songwriter in the world wants to get on it – you’ve just got to write an absolutely amazing song. I don’t think about who it’s for, I’ve just got to write something that is amazing. I used to think, ‘Ah, let’s write a song for a boyband’, whereas now I’ve just realised you’ve got to write a f**king good song.”
