The first week back to work after the new year is a drab one but not for Scissor Sisters. After revealing their new single ‘Shady Love’ live on Radio 1 on bank holiday Monday the airwaves were blasting with a dance delight.
Produced by Alex Ridha of Boyz Noise and co-written with Azealia Banks (under the name of Krystal Pepsi) who also provides vocals you know it’s going to big!
Shady Love is like nothing you’d ever expect form the Scissor Sisters but oddly sounds just like them. They’ve picked out elements from their previous successful material and pieced it all together to create a poptastic parade of fun lyrics, booty shaking beats and plenty of Scissor Sisters chic.
With Jake Shears taking his first rapping debut behind an electro/dance/house style beat it’s the first infectious pop sucker punch of 2012. Their fourth album is due out later this year but for now check out Shady Love!
