Lea Michele’s Tribute To Cory Monteith With Song ‘If You Say So’

Lea Michele’s emotion tribute to Cory Monteith ‘If You Say So’ hits the web – listen here!

Lea Michele‘s emotional tribute to Cory Monteith has surfaced on the internet.

Titled ‘If You Say So,’ the hauntingly sparse piano ballad recounts the death of her late co-star and boyfriend.

It was co-written by Michele with hot property songwriter Sia Furler and Chris Braide.

It is set in the seven days after the death of an unnamed love interest, with Michele repeating the lines “seven whole days”.

In the chorus, she recalls their last moment together, “You said I love you girl/ I said I love you more/ And a breath, a pause, you said, if you say so/ If you say so/If you say so.”

In the final verse, Michele cranks up the sensitivity of the subject by singing the lyrics “I check my phone and wait to hear from you in a crowded room. I thought we would grow old/ Mirrors in the smoke/ Left me here to choke.”
