Pitbull has announced the details his involvement with the 2014 FIFA World Cup song.
The Hispanic hit maker revealed on Twitter that the official song, ‘We Are One’, features Jennifer Lopez.
It also features vocals from Brazilian singer Claudia Leitte.
He wrote: “One song brings the world together #WeAreOne @JLo @ClaudiaLeitte @FIFAcom #WorldCup”
This marks the fifth time that Jenny from the Block and Mr. Worldwide have collaborated together. The first was over four years ago back in October 2009, when Pitbull featured on J Lo’s promotional single ‘Fresh Out The Oven’, which made its only chart appearance on the US Hot Dance Club Songs chart, peaking at number one and finishing at number 10 on the year end chart.
The second pairing was three years ago in February 2011, when Pitbull again featured on J Lo’s worldwide smash ‘On The Floor’, which became her biggest hit to date.
This was followed by two more songs by Lopez featuring Pitbull: ‘Dance Again’ in May 2012 and ‘Live It Up’ a year later in May 2013.
The last FIFA World Cup song was by Shakira in 2010, with the worldwide hit ‘Waka Waka (This Time For Africa)’.
Pitbull is currently topping charts around the world with his collaboration with Ke$ha, ‘Timber’, which is spending its third week at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
