Hit show ‘Glee‘ is to end next season with an episode that will honour Cory Monteith.
Creator of the musical comedy Ryan Murphy confirmed that the show would not be renewed after it’s sixth season.
Murphy explained that his original intentions for the final season involved finishing the on-off romance between Monteith’s chracter Finn and protagonist Rachel played by Lea Michele: “The final year of the show, which will be next year, was designed around Rachel and Cory/Finn’s story. I always knew how it would end. I knew what the last shot was – he was in it. I knew what the last line was – she said it to him.”
Although Monteith has already had a tribute episode which aired last week in the US, Murphy has conjured another ending he believes to be satisfactory which will honour the late actor for the last season.
