Carly Rae Jepsen’s ‘Call Me Maybe’ MTVs Best Song of 2012

Carly Rae Jepsen’s ‘Call Me Maybe’ has been voted by MTV as the Best Song of 2012…

Yes you did indeed read that correctly. According to MTV, Jepo’s viral hit ‘Call Me Maybe’ with its staggering 350,000,000 hits on YouTube is the Best Song of 2012

CRJ had this to say on the matter: “First of all, wow, thank you so much! I have to thank the two other writers of ‘Call Me Maybe,’ Josh Ramsay and Tavish Crowe. When we worked on the song together, we were not expecting this year to turn out to be the crazy adventure that it is.”

So if the world does end this year as the Mayan calendar and that sandwich board man on Oxford Street claim, then according to MTV this is our doomsday anthem. Sounds about right to me.

Jepo then continued with, “Thank you to the fans, my team, my family and MTV — thanks to you!”

Not a problem Carly, it was no trouble at all, let the apocalypse commence.
