5 Seconds Of Summer have confirmed the release date of their debut album.
The Australian four-some have already released two EPs independently – Unplugged and Somewhere New. The album will be their first major label LP.
In an upcoming issue of Seventeen Magazine it has been reported that the debut will be released on 22nd July. An extract from the article reads: “If you’re officially as in love with these dudes as we are, be sure to catch them on the road with One Direction this summer, and get ready for their debut album, out July 22!”
The band have recently stated that they wrote over 100 songs for the upcoming record.
5 Seconds Of Summer’s debut UK single ‘She Looks So Perfect’ went straight to number one earlier this year. Meanwhile, the band will be supporting One Direction on their Where We Are world tour for their European and North American dates.
