Rivers Cuomo and gang have just announced their new album Everything Will Be Alright In The End will be produced by The Cars’ Rik Ocasek.
With the release date still not confirmed, Weezer’s ninth album will feature the new track ‘Ain’t Got Nobody’ and is the follow up to 2010’s Hurley. There Weezer fanbase are doubly excited due to Ocasek’s previous work with the bands Blue and Green albums, that spurned the hits ‘Buddy Holly’ and ‘Hash Pipe’.
Cuomo will also be working closely with Charli XCX on her new album, so 2014 will be one exciting time for the LA band.
