Video Interview: The Heartbreaks (Exclusive)

We chat with upcoming Indie stars The Heartbreaks about their hometown, what they think of the music scene and about the Morecambe polo tower!

The Heartbreaks are a four piece band that puts the poetic and romanticism back into Indie, and the best thing to come out of Lancashire, since the hot-pot!

Following a critically acclaimed tour supporting Carl Barat last year, who was quoted as saying the “finest” support band he has ever toured with, as well as headlining their own London shows, The Heartbreaks are already making a mark for themselves on the music scene for 2011. They release their new single ‘Jealous Don’t You Know’ on the 18th April with a launch at the Manchester’s Deaf institute on April 9th with tickets selling fast:

We join up with Matthew Whitehouse (vocals, rhythm guitar), Joseph Kondras (drums), Ryan Wallace (lead guitar, backing vocals) and Chris Deakin (bass guitar, backing vocals) for a chat before performing at the Merc Live at The Gibson Guitar Studio, London to discuss what they love about their home town of Morcambe, the seaside, plans for this year and the fact they do not have crabs!!!
