The Stone Roses and The Killers have been confirmed to headline this years V Festival on 18th and 19th of August. The Stone Roses had been strongly rumoured to be playing since their resurrection in October last year. The gigs are the Rose’s first confirmed English festival dates of 2012. The Killers are also set to release a follow up to 2008’s ‘Day and Age’ following their lengthy hiatus since then.
Other names on the bill include Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Nicki Minaj, Tom Jones, Happy Mondays, Friendly Fires, Frank Turner, The Enemy and The Ting Tings.
