Promoting Albert Hammond Jr‘s latest solo album, a fan newsletter entitled ‘Fall 2013 Update‘ has suggested that New Yorkers, The Strokes, may be making a return to radios and charts everywhere in 2014.
Not so discreetly bringing up the subject, the email reads:
“Hey folks, while The Strokes are toiling and writing, looking at 2014 for a return to the scene, Albert Hammond Jr. has been busy on his solo EP…“”
Don’t get too excited, though. Following the announcement, bassist Nikolai Fraiture said there would be no tour for the album so unfortunately, for The Strokes fans, there probably won’t be any more chances to see them live.
