Royal Blood have scooped the fastest selling rock album of the past three years, with their debut, self titled LP (released on the 25th August 2014) selling in excess of 66,000 copies so far!
The sales in the album’s first week make it the highest-selling rock debut record since Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds self-titled release in 2011, according to the Official Charts Company.
The band, consisting of Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher, drew a colossal crowd to the NME/Radio 1 Tent at Reading Festival this year, as well as a whole host of festivals over the summer and support slots for UK Indie-Rockers ‘Arctic Monkeys’.
