Pink Floyd have premiered their new track ‘Louder Than Words’. Check it out below and let us know what you think!
The track, taken from upcoming album The Endless River, was premiered on radio earlier today (9th October) and singles the first new music from the band since 1994’s The Division Bell was released.
The new album was recorded primarily in sessions recorded in 1994. David Gilmour’s wife Polly Samson tweeted in July about overdub sessions for the album before an official release was announced for November 10th. The double disc is designed to be experienced on vinyl, although both CD and Blu-Ray editions are also available.
David Gilmour has said the album is a tribute to late keyboard player Rick Wright, who died in 2008, saying: “With Rick gone – and with him, the chance of ever doing it again – it feels right that these revisited and reworked tracks should be made available as part of our repertoire.”
