Phuckwit Promotions Present – FROM THE JAM – Bruce Foxton! The Public Rooms – Bodmin

Missed out on experiencing the legendary Jam? ..Well not anymore! Here HTF invite you to a very special night, Phuckwit Promotions Present..

Incredible bass guitar legend – Bruce Foxton – ‘FROM THE JAM’,  is set to perform on Saturday 30th March at ‘The Public Rooms’, Bodmin, Cornwall.

Support on the night comes from two fantastic South – West bands, ‘A Day At The Races’ and ‘Land Of The Giants’.

Due to recent announcement that the Bodmin Town Council intend to put the popular music based ‘community’ hall up for sale, this makes this amazing night just that tad extra special then already highly anticipated. The hall of music history will go up for sale as of April 1st, so this could possibly make Bruce Foxton the last gig performance at ‘The Public Rooms’.

So, what can we expect from this incredible gig? Well, support from the like’s of  ‘A Day At The Races’ set to bring us an indie/pop explosion. Formed in Bristol in the noughties, A Day At The Races are a 4 piece band who are known for playing entirely their own original material with intelligent lyrics and catchy melodies. Comparisons come from The Beatles, The Jam and R.E.M. Arguably, Bristol’s best kept secret whom are set for great things. Certainly one to watch.

After this fullfilment, we can then be taken into further uplifting with Plymouth’s one and very only – ‘Land Of The Giants’. Performing and creating since 2009, The Giants will take you into a right little genre mix with one of their highly anticipated addictive shows. With ideas too big to pigeon – hole, The Giants fuse many a musical style and are quite frankly genre defying. Here’s an idea of what to expect – Dub Rock, Indie Ska, Funk Blues. Call it what you like, all HTF can say is to expect fresh energetic sounds.
Stay tuned to more on this band, as the hype for Land Of The Giants has been increasing more and more. You can catch them quite reguarly now through BBC airplay.

Bruce Foxton will top this event. The power and rhythm force behind singer, guitarist and song writer Paul Weller, Bruce’s versatility is evident throughout his musical career and journey. We now have the privilage of an incredible unique performance as Bruce and his band – ‘From The Jam’ take us back to those legendary Jam years. What more can we say? It just doesnt get any more magical then that.
