New SXSW Festival Bands Announced

The first announcement of bands for 2014’s SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas has been released.

The first announcement of bands for 2014’s SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas has been released.

Sheffield’s finest Bring Me The Horizon are among the names, alongside new favourites London Grammar and twee pop starlet Eliza Doolittle, set to play a number of different venues across the city from March 7-16, 2014.

Other artists announced include Drenge, Lovely Bad Things, NO, Pure Love, Avi Buffalo, Delorean, Jessia Lea Mayfield, Urge Overkill, Royal Canoe, Jack Savoretti, Savoir Adore and Urge Overkill.

The film and interactive wings of the festival have also released some big names, with Lena Dunham of TV series ‘Girls‘ fame and Adam Savage from the Discovery Channel both talking at the event.
