Neil Young has announced that he is set to release a new album, ‘A Letter Home’ in March.
The album will be released via Jack White’s Third Man Records, and the record company described the album as “an unheard collection of rediscovered songs from the past recorded on ancient electro-mechanical technology captures and unleashes the essence of something that could have been gone forever.”
Talking t0 Rolling Stone about the album, Young described it as “one of the lowest-tech experiences I’ve ever had.” Despite rumours circulating last week that the release would be a duet covers album with Jack White, Young’s Facebook page quashed them, stating: “We are certain those rumours have no basis in truth.”
