Muse Cancel Upcoming Shows Following A Broken Foot

Matt Bellamy has broken his foot and cancelled a handful of dates on their current tour. Details here!

Matt Bellamy from the universally acclaimed indie/rock crossovers Muse has tweeted fans to confirm cancellation of the band’s shows in Stockholm, Malmo and Osla due to a broken foot.

Bellamy tweeted a picture of him on crutches and an X-ray of the offending extremity.

Thereafter, Muse released the following statement:

“We’re very sorry to have to announce that Muse’s forthcoming shows in Oslo, Stockholm and Malmo have been cancelled as Matt has broken two bones in his foot. The band have therefore made the difficult decision to cancel these gigs as they feel that they will not be able to do justice to their live show and the fans who have bought tickets with Matt performing on crutches. Muse would like to apologise to all their fans who have tickets to these shows. Refunds will be available from the point of purchase.

The broken foot is not expected to affect any further shows outside of these dates. Things should be back to normal(ish) by their Helsinki show on the 10th of December.

Hit The Floor wishes Matt Bellamy a speedy recovery.
