It was announced earlier this week that Lily Allen would be Two Door Cinema Club’s replacement when they were forced to pull out of their Friday night headline set at Latitude due to the singer Alex Trimble having a stomach illness.
During the set, which took place last night (18th July) Lily Allen paid homage to the Irish indie rockers by covering their hit Something Good Can Work.
Before playing it she jokingly said “Do you know this one guys? Do you think we could figure this one out at such short notice?” and then proceeded to read the lyrics off a sheet of paper throughout the song.
The rest of her set was made up of her own hits, such as LDN and The Fear.
