The ice bucket challenge craze is continuing to gather momentum, and Liam Gallagher is the latest musician to participate. The campaign is raising awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
On a video uploaded to YouTube, the former Oasis member can be seen sat on a scooter whilst being soaked with the freezing water. He nominated brother and ex-bandmate Noel Gallagher who he labels a “cartoon character”.
“I accept this challenge and nominate Spongebob Squarepants, Ivor the Engine, and while we’re on cartoon characters, Noel Gallagher.”
Liam Gallagher is the latest in a line of celebrities to complete the challenge, following on Lily Allen, Lady Gaga and Arcade Fire to name a few.
