Brandon Flowers, who was recently called the “best looking man in rock” by The Courteeners’ Liam Fray , has confirmed he plans on releasing a new album next year.
He told the NME that he is working with Ariel Rechstadt, who has recently worked with Haim and Vampire Weekend. Flowers said “He’s taking me out of my comfort zone. Normally I make demos and they’re pretty similar to how the songs end up. But he’ll take the song and be like, ‘I hear this’… It’s incredible – his palette and his range, what he’s able to say. He’ll try other ways of doing things and that’s something I’ve never really done.”
Flowers’s last album Flamingo was released in 2010 and featured the hit single ‘Crossfire‘.
