The Horrors Cancel Majority Of Tour Dates For 2014

The Horrors will be rescheduling several 2014 European and US tour dates for 2015

The Horrors have cancelled the majority of their upcoming 2014 European and US tour dates, but will still play their UK shows, the NME reports.

The band announced the cancellation of the tour on Twitter yesterday (July 25), where they apologised to fans who had bought tickets to the shows, but explained that the “situation was unavoidable” and that they would be rescheduling for 2015.

See the full tweet from the band, who released their fourth album ‘Luminous’ in May of this year, below:

“Dear friends, family, supporters, deadly sworn enemies and others – Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control we have had to reshuffle our US and European tours at the end of this year. We can only apologise to anyone who already has tickets to the dates affected – we hate cancelling shows but this situation was unavoidable. We’ll be back on the road next year and make sure we return to all the places we missed on this run.”

Later, the band tweeted again suggesting that not all of the tour dates would be cancelled. They said:

14th Oct – Santa Ana, CA
15th Oct – Los Angeles, CA
16th Oct – San Francisco, CA
