To all our readers who flock to Hit The Floor for all the latest music updates. You shall now be rewarded with some hot news. Glastonbury Festival has begun!

Yes, Michael Eavis has opened the gates to Worthy Farm for yet another year of musical brilliance. An estimated 100,000 lucky festival go-ers will be braving the traditional downpours and enjoying the sounds of Metallica, Arcade Fire and Kasabian.

The Met Office has confirmed that grey clouds will be marching over to Somerset this weekend. So make sure you go equiped with wellies and kagols as standard. It’s bound to be an excellent weekend come rain or shine. See as many different bands/artists as possible, don’t buy any magic powder from a man called Captain Awesome and remember where you left your tent.

In the meantime, if you are stuck for ideas of who to see why not check out our recommended acts to see on Clashfinder.

This is a quick reminder of how great King Charles was last time he played Glastonbury, don’t miss him this year!
