Odd looking eyebrows, talking eye sockets, old men foaming at the mouth and security guards with CCTV camera heads – just another video from the too-cool-for-school Brooklyn band Friends.
Following on from their debut hit ‘I’m His Girl’, their latest single ‘Mind Control’ keeps the funky bass, pop infused synth and infectious lyrics. The video is also directed by Hiro Murai, referencing a number of dystopian sci-fi films from the 80’s. Watch it below!
Taken from their album ‘Manifest’ the single proves to be going down well with over 20,000 hits in the first couple of days. Friends are gigging throughout the summer hitting a ton of festivals and have confirmed the following shows:
JUNE
2nd – Field Day
3rd – Nottingham Dot To Dot
4th – London Rough Trade East
6th – London Dingwalls
8th – Liverpool Kazimier
AUGUST
