Last night, psychedelic rockers the Flaming Lips joined Miley Cyrus on stage in Manchester to perform a cover of the classic Beatles’ track ‘Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds’.
The performance is said to have been recorded for inclusion in the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, the 18th of May, and the cover is part of the Flaming Lips upcoming tribute record to ‘Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band’ titled ‘With A Little Help From My Fwends’.
The album is due to be released on the 28th of October and can be pre-ordered from this Sunday. It will feature several musicians, including Moby and Miley Cyrus.
