PYYRAMIDS release video to new single Invisible Scream

Indie-electro duo PYYRAMIDS have released the video for their new single Invisible Scream. The single was released on October 22 on Paracadute Records.

The band, hailing from Los Angeles, is comprised of Tim Nordwind, of indie band OK Go fame, and Drea Smith, from electro-pop group He Say/She Say. The pair met through friends and formed a musical bond via email over their mutual adoration for bands like Joy Division and The Smiths. Smith moved from Chicago to Los Angeles, and the pair began working together musically.

In 2011, the duo released their first EP Human Beings on independent label Paracadute. Invisible Scream is taken from their debut album Brightest Darkest Day, which was released in April 2013 on the same label, and was mixed by Dave Fridmann of Flaming Lips and MGMT, and Dan Konopka of OK Go.

They have been described by The Guardian as ‘Fleetwood Mac with a tinge of urban’, and are coined on their official site as opting for stripped back instruments mixed with electronic elements with a soulful vocal delivery.
