Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes has shared a new music video for You Are Your Mothers Child. The emotional video was filmed in New York and directed by Greg Marinaccio. It switches between footage Oberst playing guitar from inside a TV screen, what appears to be a masked father figure, and clips of a child’s life.
The track is taken from Conor Oberst’s latest solo album Upside Down Mountain, which was released in May earlier this year on Nonesuch records. Conor Oberst plays Latitude Festival today (Saturday, 19th July) in promotion of the album, as well as a TV performance on David Letterman at the end of the month.
