The creators of Celebrity Soccer Six are staging the Indie Soccer Six on Sunday May 13th at Leyton Orient FC,  and will feature a host of indie music royalty. Us, being the kind souls that we are, have got 2 VIP Tickets to the event to give away to one lucky reader!

Confirmed to lace up their boots in the ultimate battle of the bands competition are Reverend and the Makers, Two Door Cinema Club, The Twang,  Goldie Lookin’ Chain, The Milk, Dexters, Masters In France, Little Comets, The Tricks, Sound of Guns, Kav, Buster Shuffle, Eugene McGuiness and iconic indie club night This Feeling.

The day will also feature a Next Generation tournament for some of the rising stars of the indie music scene including The Rivalry, Missing Andy, Daystar, Mercanaries, Sound Moves, Where’s Strutter, Morrissey and Marshall, IC1’s and The Sharks.

With the Playhard VIP area featuring exciting established and up and coming DJ’s and bands like The Branco Heist, The Filthy Habits and Masters in France, the event is set to become a re-established fixture in the indie music calendar.

Mark Abery, founder of the Soccer Six events says, ‘We’ve staged the Celebrity Soccer Six tournaments since 1995 and back then we had Oasis, Blur and Pulp at the very height of Britpop. The Soccer Six Indie is about taking the event back to its roots, creating a real indie get together a couple of times a year”

Since beginning in 1995 Soccer Six has grown to become the UK’s premier celebrity sports event. It’s two football tournaments each May are a must‐attend in the celebrity calendar and everyone who’s anyone has laced up their boots in the name of the beautiful game.

Now, due to popular demand they are introducing a series of Industry Soccer Six six­Ã¢â‚¬a‐side European themed football tournaments at Leyton Orient Football Club on May 10th – 13th 2012 for businesses and organisations associated with specific areas of the entertainment industry.

And all this  football fun with famous people has been put together in aid of the Music For All charity and will be an excellent day out for a great cause.
