Coldplay have released the second single from their new album ‘Ghost Stories’.
The track, ‘A Sky Full Of Stars’, follows their first single ‘Magic’ and is available to download from May 3rd.
The album will be the iconic group’s sixth album and is released on May 19th.
Alongside the release, the band yesterday announced that envelopes containing frontman, singer and guitarist Chris Martin’s handwritten song lyrics had been hidden in libraries worldwide, the NME reports.
Instructions on how to find the envelopes are posted on the band’s official Twitter account, and fans are invited to attempt to find the lyric sheets. One envelope contains a Golden Ticket that will allow the finder to see Coldplay perform at the Royal Albert Hall in London on July 1st.
Martin described the new album ‘Ghost Stories’ in an interview with Zane Lowe (BBC Radio 1) last night as “42 minutes on an emotional treadmill”.
