Coldplay Announce Tour

Coldplay jet off around the world to play six intimate dates, including London’s Royal Albert Hall

Press Shot

In support of their upcoming album Ghost Stories, Coldplay will be playing six ‘intimate’ shows. Chris Martin and co are set to play around the world playing five countries over the next few months.

Starting in Cologne, Germany on April 25th and ending at London’s Royal Albert Hall on July 1st, the band will play one of the least environmentally friendly tours of all time, flying to USA, Japan, France, Germany and then back home (just imagine the size of that carbon footprint). Maybe a little bit naughty for such a forward thinking band.

Gone are the stadiums as the band are heading indoors for more ‘cozy’ performances (if you can call the Royal Albert Hall cozy). They will be unveiling new material from their album out May 19th, as well as crowd favourites. Is this maybe just an excuse to get away from the ex-wife?

Ticket information will be emailed out to Coldplay mailing list subscribers.

The complete tour dates are as follows:

Cologne E-Werk, Germany (April 25)
New York Beacon Theatre, USA (May 5)
Los Angeles Royce Hall, USA (May 19)
Paris Casino de Paris, France (May 28)
Tokyo Dome City Hall, Japan (June 12)
London Royal Albert Hall, UK (July 1)
