80s legend Adam Ant to play Latitude Festival!

Organisers have confirmed that 80s post-punk legend Adam Ant will be performing at this year’s Latitude Festival on Saturday 16^th July.

Adam Ant was one of the defining post-punk acts in Britain and had huge chart success with songs such as ‘Prince Charming’, ‘Goody Two Shoes’ and ‘Stand and Deliver’.

He is currently working on a new material and will be releasing a solo album entitled ‘Adam Ant Is The Blueblack Hussar In Marrying The Gunner’s Daughter’.

Other acts just announced for Lattiude include Carl Barat, The Walkmen, Cloud Control and Group Love.

This year’s festival takes place in Henham Park Estate, Southwold, Suffolk between Thursday 14th July and Sunday 17^th July 2011.
